At Higgins Donut Co. we believe great donuts are a joyful treat to share with anyone and everyone! Just over a decade ago, our co-founder Anita Higgins discovered she had celiac disease, and the world of wheat donuts was no longer an option. After much careful product testing we’ve developed a gluten-free fried donut that pleases both gluten and non-gluten eating folks! We’re delighted to present you freshly fried gluten-free donuts (that don’t taste gluten-free)!
Higgins Donut Co. is a family affair! Nick prepares all our batter by hand in a celiac-friendly kitchen. Our donuts are fried on site, and our three oldest children take your orders, add toppings and complete packaging. Anita manages the entire process. It’s a labor of love from start to finish but we’re sure it’s worth it!
We use only the finest gluten-free ingredients in our donuts, sourced from local farmers and suppliers whenever possible. Our batter is made fresh in a celiac-safe kitchen and fried on site in a dedicated gluten-free fryer. We believe that the quality of our ingredients is reflected in the taste of our donuts. All of our ingredients can be found in your grandmother’s pantry (no unpronounceable additives)!
